My reservation is from Kalyan but due to delay it is departing from kalyan at approx 4.00 AM.
I am near to thane, so can i board the train from thane? Next stopage is kalyan but i my tkt is from kalyan so i am little worried . Do i need to get approval from TT or should i just board the train from thane? If someone ask for Penalty How much i have to pay for it? I have tkt from Kalyan hence they can charge me from CST to Kalyan only na?

By Railway rule, u have to board @ Kalyan!!
By rule, they will fine u with minimum distance restriction, if u have unreserved ticket for Thane-KYN (which mayb equivalent to 250-350 km charge)!!
Better, board the train & inform TTE about the same. Most probably, he may allow u!!
