Hi all,
I have a query about purchase of general tickets. I want to buy general ticket for today's journey from Chennai Central to Gudur as I have reservation in the same train (Charminar express 2759) from Gudur to Warangal. Can anyone tell me will it be possible to buy general ticket in stations other than Chennai Central (e.g. Guindy or Mambalam which are close to my office) ? How much time it can take to buy a general ticket in Chennai Central (so that I can leave my office early) ?

You can buy at Mambalam PRS counter.
In fact, you can buy Mambalam to Gudur ! Try it out...
