RITES has already secured two orders from South African mineral and steel plants, one for ₹35 crore and the other for ₹50 crore, each for three locomotives. RITES ko South Africa ke mineral and steel plants se do order mil chuke hain, ek ₹35 crore ka aur dusra ₹50 crore ka, har ek me teen locomotive hain. Agar yeh initiative successful hota hai, toh India ke liye ek bada export market khul jaayega, kyunki bahut saare spare diesel locomotives available hain. RITES ka target hai ki woh design modification ko final karein aur aagle four to six months me prototypes ko approval dilaein.
