Passengers travelling on the Chennai Beach - Tiruvannamalai local train are demanding an upgrade to the MEMU rake from eight to twelve cars due to overcrowding. Passengers have expressed concerns about the lack of planning and have urged the railway authorities to introduce a new direct train to Tiruvannamalai or upgrade the existing one. A railway official has confirmed that a proposal for a new service and 12-car MEMU rakes has been submitted to the board.

May 22 ko Pournamani Girivalam festival ke wajah se bhi bheed kaafi zyada thi. Passengers ne planning ki kami par narazgi jahir ki hai aur railway authorities se naya direct train shuru karne ya existing train ko upgrade karne ki demand ki hai.
