The 46 km electrified route will be commissioned, adding to the already completed 255 km of the 272 km USBRL project. A trial run of an 8-coach MEMU train was conducted on the Chenab Bridge, the world's highest rail bridge, at a speed of 40 kmph last month. The iconic Chenab Bridge, an engineering marvel, stands at a height of 359 meters above the riverbed, making it the world's highest arch railway bridge.
