The railway is deploying over 8,000 personnel, including 4,200 RPF personnel, for the event. Teams are being formed to improve coordination between GRP, RPF, and other railway personnel, with special training in soft skills. The focus is on providing assistance and ensuring safety for pilgrims. A total of 935 crore rupees is being spent on Maha Kumbh preparations, with 4,000 crore rupees being allocated for doubling railway lines. Key services for pilgrims include 'May I Help You' desks at Prayagraj Junction and Chheoki Station, ticket facilities for 60,000 pilgrims per hour, medical services with hospitals at Prayagraj Junction (6 beds) and Chheoki Station (2 beds), 10 ambulances, 96 mobile UTS units for ticket purchase, one-way entry and exit during the 'Snan Purnima' (holy bath), and 140 regular trains along with additional trains for the 'Snan Purnima'.
