Pune: Revised Composition of Diwali and Chhat Festivals Special Trains

Indian Railways has announced changes to the composition of several Diwali and Chhath Festival Special Trains. These trains will now use LHB rakes instead of ICF rakes. The changes affect trains running between CSMT-Asansol, CSMT-Latur, LTT-Prayagraj, LTT-Gorakhpur, LTT-Nagpur, Pune-Gorakhpur, Pune-Karimnagar, and Pune-Jodhpur. Sleeper Class coaches, and 7 General Second Class/Second Sitting coaches, along with a Guard's Brake Van and a Generator Car. Some trains like the Pune-Gorakhpur, Pune-Karimnagar, and Pune-Jodhpur specials will have 16 LHB coaches instead of 18. These changes are effective from October 12, 2024.
