I have some querries. I hope any one can help me to get these answers.
First of all we choose a train. lets train no.15014, Ranikhet Express. This train source station is Kathgodam (uttarakhand), dep. 20.40 and the destination to Bhagat ki kothi (Rajesthan), arr. 18.00. It takes around 22 hrs.
Now the questions are below:
1. Generally how many TTs or
Ticket Checkers are present in this train or any other train?
2. For different couches like, Sleeper, 3rd AC, CC, 2nd AC, are the separate TTs or a common TT present in the whole train for checking train tickets from the passengers.
3. Generally how many railway staff present in one time in this train or any other train, like driver, helper, TT, RPF etc.
4. Who will be the head of a moving train, under whose supervision all staff present in moving train will work or follow his instructions.
5. TT will be change after some station or some hours or he will travel from the starting of the train till destination?
6. RPF person will be change after some station or some hrs or he/they will travel from the starting of the train till destination?
7. Who will responsible to look that any unauthorised person, like food vendors (who sell Tea, Coffee, Biscuts, Mineral Water etc.) in a Moving Train? Who will take care or authorised to stop board these type of vendors in a Moving Trains?
If you could help me to find these answers, I will be greatful to you.
Thanks in advance

1+2) Generally varies from 1 TTE per coach to as max as 1 per 3 coaches. AC classes have a different set of TTEs, with their number being governed by the same rule.
3)1 LP + two ALPs usually. 1 guard. RPF strength varies from train to train.
4) No overall head AFAIK. LP heads the proceedings in the LOCO, TTE heads his coaches (Not very sure on this).
TTEs change at places where the train has crew changes. For this train it happens at DLI.
6) Same as (5). Crew means the entire crew.
7) RPF commandant deputed to the coach will be responsible.
The answers are true to the best of my knowlege and are open to corrections.

For special trains, you have a train superintendent as well who is in-charge of all in-train operations excluding the engine which is always managed by the LP

There has recently been a lot of frustration among RFs when their Station Pics, Loco Pics, Train Pics get rejected because the "number is not showing", "shed is not visible", the loco/train is at a distance, Train Board is too small, "better pic available", etc. . To address this issue, effective tomorrow, ALL...

-@all members: As of recently, there has been a trend whereby minor name updates of Trains/Stations - whether such and such regional name should be there or not, whether the train should be called "Abc Express" or "Abc Superfast Express", etc. are threatening to take over the majority of Timeline entries. Also,...

It has been over 2 weeks since the appointment of the current batch of FMs and 750 Complaints have been handled so far.
