I had planned my journey from KRMI to CSTM in Konkan Kanya Express. However, due to certain reasons, it was divided in 2 parts, both were e-tickets booked on IRCTC -
Ticket No. 1 - KRMI to Ratnagiri RN which was confirmed in 3AC
Ticket No. 2 - RN to CSTM which was WL in 3AC and the final status also ended being
in WL
Question 1 - Will I get the refund automatically for ticket no. 2 from IRCTC or do I need to take some action ?
Question 2 - Can I file TDR for the 1st ticket as I did not travel owing to the connecting ticket not getting confirmed - If yes, till what time and under what reason should i file the TDR and if no, is there any other way to get some refund ?

Hello All,
I was trying to book a 3AC General Quota tickets for date of journey 23-01-2016 in train 12978/MARU SAGAR EXP. On all the 4 occasions, I got the same error message "Transaction Dropped : No Seats Available" after successful payment.
The amounts have been debited from my bank account on all the 4 occasions and tickets have not been booked in either of the cases.
let me know the reason for this error message and if the amounts debited four times will be credited back to my account with timelines for the same.
