It'll only take like 12 to 15 minutes to get there. You'll find plenty of government and private buses going towards Udupi or Manipal, and the ticket fares are under ₹20. It's way better than paying ₹50 or more for a prepaid auto rickshaw. There's also a bus from Udupi railway station to Belman via Udupi service bus stand, Katpady, Bantakal, and Shirva. It leaves at 6:30am from the railway station. If you're a passenger from 12619 (if it arrives before 6:30 during non-monsoon period), 16334,16336,16338,16312,12977,19529 (if those arrive on time), you can take advantage of this service. During the monsoon period, passengers from 16345/19578/19332 who are getting off at Udupi will benefit from reaching their destination.
