read more... Traffic hit after damage to Elephant Gate bridge
All public are severely impacted due to closure of vehicle movement on the Elephant Gate Bridge. Humble request to all Higher Govt authorities to look into this and help the public. Too much traffic diverted to Central stn & Basin Bridge side.. Please help.

Yes sir. This train is perpetual delay by atleast 2-6hrs on avg basis. Not sure why concerned Railways authorities turning blind eye towards this...
This train is running on pretty old rakes and you will feel pretty violent jerks throughout journey from Chennai to Mysore and onward journey as well, irrespective of SL or AC, the jerks are very high intensity. Pregnant ladies and people with other medical challenges - please avoid this train, if possible. I had complained online to Rlwys, they replied that the entire rake is old and needs to be changed. But, they never change it. Toilets stink badly, as this train is hardly cleaned and while approaching Chennai form Mysore, it takes nearly 50 mins to reach Chennai Central from Perambur junction.

Train reached CGL not before 9:30am on daily basis. Atleast 2-3 Express trains pass through same track and this EMU is put in Loop line. TT has to be updated or EMU train has to tstick to scheduled TT. Affects many school, college students and thousands of factory and office workers at MM Nagar and Mahindra City.
16022/ 16021 - Cauvery Express (Mysore = Chennai) Train coaches coupling is very bad.. you feel like getting thrown out of berth every time the train pulls up or starts after a halt.. and maintenance of toilets is very poor. Whom to complain ?

Atleast the toilet could be well-maintained.. it is almost impossible to get sleep if the berth are near entrance/exit doors... and the coupling is really very bad.. entire rake looks like 90's train... why no upgrade to this route?
