I traveled in 12034 Shatabdi Exp from Ghaziabad to CNB on 22 December 2016. Train reached late at 21:29 instead of 20:45!! Indiatailinfo continued to provide wrong information ....... that the train has reached on time!! While we had not reached Kanpur, website showed that trained had arrived on time. It was hilarious indeed. Why this misleading information. Should we trust this website?? What is the benefit? And to whom? My PNR was 2225927006

The train status information is fetched from NTES. So whatever status NTES gives would reflect here. IRI doesn't have it's own train tracking system.

Sir before blaming website you should know each and every corner of your grievance.....this website does not produce these updates by only shows what NATIONAL TRAIN ENQUIRY SYSTEM(NTES) shows.....and everyone knows this thing that for 12034 CNB shtbdi everyday NTES shows wrong update of reaching train at for your grievance NTES is totally responsible for its false updates....IRI is just replica of NTES in train running updates.......

I travelled in 12003 and 12004 Delhi-Lucknow Shatabdi express recently (15 Feb and 19 Feb 2016). While travelling I observed that the train jerked a lot when it was speeding. It spilled my tea on my clothes. One lady fell on floor!! Looks like there is problem in the engine or the way it is operated. Why the journey in this prestigious train cannot be smooth. Any idea from the fellow members? Is this technical fault beyond the control of Indian Railways?

CBC Coupling wthout buffer!!
The coupler in CBC/LHB Rakes are synonymous to the one been used in Freight while no buffer means sudden jerk while the coupler slides down during start-up, acceleration or deceleration...start-up can b controlled by LP thru smooth move while all else cnt b controlled while train in swing...

I recently travelled in 12004 and I didn't felt any jerk.. The train had smooth run.. Although coaches(some of them) were very old. Loco was p5.
