रांची.हटिया-बेंगलुरु कैंट ट्रेन के लिए शुक्रवार रात 10 बजे 19 बोगियों वाली जो एलएचबी (लिंक हॉफमैन बुश) कोच रांची रेल मंडल को भेजी गई थीं, वे 8-10 पुरानी निकलीं। इसका पता उस वक्त चला, जब रेलवे इंजीनियर ने जांच की। इसमें पाया कि द-पू रेलवे के संतरागाछी यार्ड में बिना मेंटेनेंस किए एलएचबी कोच का रैक भेज दिया गया है।
इसके बाद यहां मेंटेनेंस शुरू हुआ, जो 20 घंटे चला। इस कारण शनिवार शाम 6.15 बजे खुलने वाली इस ट्रेन को री-शिड्यूल कर रात लगभग 10 बजे रवाना किया गया। मैकेनिकल विभाग के इंजीनियरों ने बताया कि एलएचबी बोगियों में कई तकनीकी गड़बड़ियां थीं। इधर, यात्री चार घंटे स्टेशन पर बैठे रहे।

वाली से अच्छी बोगियां
रांची रेल मंडल डीआरएम विजय कुमार ने बताया कि बोगियां थोड़ी पुरानी जरूर हैं, लेकिन पहले वाली बोगियों से अच्छी हैं। रांची को एलएचबी बोगियां दी गई हैं। मेंटेनेंस करने में देरी हुई। आगे से ऐसा नहीं होगा।

Fully agree with you. In my recent trip to Rajasthan via Kharagpur, I spent 2 hours at KGP. In that 2 hours some SER trains passed by and most of the ICF coaches were of 2010-16. In 2014, Hatia yard did possesed some ( nearly all) trains with new ICF coaches but by 2015 all new coaches diappeared. Now maximum coaches at Hatia yard are of 1995-2002 make. 10-20 % coaches are of 2005+make. But in trains operating via HWH maximum coaches are new with charging points present at each berth. In SER only HWH gets priority. Rest like RNC are on REHM-O-KARAM of HWH. Jo mile wohi sahi.

There are many. Most of the trains with unique names are beautiful in their own way. Be it saare jahan se achha, sampoorna kranti, august kranti, matsyagandha, swaraj, pooja, archana, garba, saraighat, maurya, dharti aaba, tripura sundari, kaviguru, mewar, mahanagri, gyaneshwari, gitanjali, azad hind, poorva, paschim, dakshin, char minar, gol gumbaz, malabar, ganga sagar, kamrup, pawan, kutch, etc all are representing something and all names are quite good. Very tough to find best 3 names among hundreds of train with unique names. In my view, IR should try to give each train a unique name which shows on their website too. Like on IR sethu is shown aa RMM-MS-RMM Exp, Pratap express as Bikaner SF, etc. IR should follow unique names as it gives an idea of either route of train, source/destination of train, history of source/destination place of train.

Looks like mass cancellation happened today. In 1 hour 30 min RAC# came down from 89 to 16 and its going to CNF as still 26 LB are available of SS qouta. Applied for HO but now no need of that.

That is showing arr at 0500 hrs i think on tnstc. And on weekends there is another one at 1900 hrs that reaches RMM at 0400 hrs. Thinking to take any of those two. I am not going, my parents are going.i think you are saying about the same that i have posted in the screenshot.

If parents are going then don't take bus as an option..Right or wrong train will always do a better job even if it's slightly long
Try if plan can be tweaked in such a way that RMM CAPE express service can be utilized
