The services offered by Railways (both inside and outside the coach) has been very qualitative and efficient. Since we operate out of Kumbakonam, I would like to sincerely thank the Railway staffs operating out of Kumbakonam Railway station on their valuable service.
The way Kumbakonam Railway station has proved itself for providing Quality service in a most Effective, Efficient and Economical way is very much appreciated when compared to the dramatic increase in the number of passengers visiting kumbakonam year after year (especially during Mahamaham festival times).
Here I would like to make an humble request before you on behalf of thousands of people who are visiting kumbakonam from various parts of South India. Considering the number of passengers visiting kumbakonam, (that's sizably increasing year after year), It would be really great if the number of trains serving kumbakonam from various location across South India can be increased so that It would be convenient for people visiting kumbakonam (especially who are visiting the Navagraha temples). Most of them reach Trichy, Bangalore, Madurai or Coimbatore and travel down by Car to Kumbakonam since the frequency of Trains connecting these Main locations are limited. Plus It would be really useful if the connectivity between kumbakonam and other major stations mentioned can be improved by any means in the next 1-2 years since we also see lots of international visitors travelling from these major locations to kumbakonam that are connected to Airways.
