What a surprise , Finally Bankura Masagram is all set to increase it's MPS from 80 kmph to 110 kmph
All credits goes to Soumyadeep da , who arranged the documents , i am posting on behalf of him.

And with this a new route towards Hwh is all set to begins it's operation.
...

PROSPECTS:
This section is part of an alternative route to Howrah from Adra side apart from the
overburdened Asansol-Raniganj-Andal-Durgapur and Kharagpur-Tikiapara-Howrah
route, free from passing goods traffic. Distance between Bankura and Howrah will be
reduced by 41 kms, making it the shortest route between them. Henceforth, journey time
will also reduce from existing 4 hrs to 3 hrs. Most stations between BQA and MSAE
have high PPM figure towards both ends.

UPGRADATION OF MAXIMUM PERMIOSSIBLE SPEED IN
BANKURA MASAGRAM SECTION

STATUS:
Renewal and restructuring work between Bankura and Masagram will be over by
04.02.2022. Two new loops have been proposed at Beliatore and Rainagar. There are two
crossing stations i.e., Bowaichandi and Sonamukhi. Foundation of TSS at Indas is ready
to power the OHE facilitating simultaneous train operation at higher speeds.

PROFILE:
KM
Signalling
Permissible Speed
Halts
Level Crossings
LC Eliminated
118
Absolute (S)
BQA-MTIP 80
MTIP-MSAE 65
30
59
35

ENHANCEMENTS:
MPS of this section must be increased to 110 KM/H in order to run express trains at an
average of 80 kmph. MEMU and Passenger services need to operate at 45 kmph average.
Signal posts are to be installed in all eligible halt stations for smooth movement of traffic
in both directions. Interlockings at all stations should be in sync to support reserved
operation.

A single line with interlocked signal and loop line at 5-6 stations will be enough. We will get a 2-3 pair express train to HWH and 6-8 pairs of local to MSAE (good scenario).

#BDR Masagram - Bankura route
➡️One of unique location to me where ER & SER meet as Masagram/ER & Masagram Jn./SER
➡️The terminal end of the Bankura Damodar Railway (BDR) is Masagram Jn./SER.From here passengers have to change to the ER station!
➡️The BDR (common name) operates Four pair DEMU trains, having a crossing station at Sonamukhi,as the whole route "HAS NO SIGNALS"
...
except at Sonamukhi! The system of working is "One Train Only" or OTO System between Sonamukhi - Bankura & Sonamukhi - Masagram sections.
➡️Here at Masagram Jn./SER,they have a Crew Lobby.
➡️The tickets are issued by Eastern Railways at Masagram/ER
.

So without proper blocking and more signals, running trains to HWh (assuming a connection is there) will be difficult......

I personally do not see a lot of potential on this route. Maybe 4-5 pair of local trains and 2 pair of express trains to HWH (if slots are available) will run on this section. I don't see goods train using these tracks, because there is no big industrial area on the section. Also, this is the ADRA division, if there was a chance of running goods train it would have done ran by now.
