i don't understand what do you mean by quota will be of gorakhpur?, it is showing /WL6 in AC3 currently from gorakhpur to bangalore. can i book this ticket and board at lucknow? will i get confirm seat or will it get confirmed?

why would it will come in PQWL if i'm booking it from gorakhpur to bangalore...and there is a option of boarding point in irctc just at the page where it says make payment..

you mean through irctc site in can book this ticket and later take the printout of that ticket with ID and go to the counter and change the boarding point on friday, right? but i have not seen anybody doing that....more over what is the procedure at the counter?
