I think NR for the power and importance it holds in Indian Railways system.
WR for the better passenger services it offers.

according to the availability at DEC viz a viz GGN , towards Jaipur .. it can be safely estimated that almost 500-650 passengers are traveling between GGN and Chandigarh in this train daily !
the negative side is that there is waiting from DEC between Delhi and Jaipur but 400-500 available seats from Gurgaon in the coming days !

same thing
...
is happening in the return direction .. GGN pax is not getting tickets to Chandigarh .. but there remains some availability from DEC ..

ideal scenario would fixing of quotas and starting a separate service between GGN and Chandigarh !!

Ironically !

This NWR train has become more popular in NR territory !
Today : CDG-GGN : only 12 is available in current
GGN-JP: 450 + will reduce by atleast 200
...
as the departure time approaches ! '

DEC-JP : Not available
CDG-DEC : 12 available

but clearly , IR should now think of a VB in the reverse direction and a 8 coach early morning departing VB between GGN and CDG (06:00-9:15 / 19:00-22:15).

This will able IR to capture more passengers from Cars and buses !

Have been saying for long, 2 VBs needed between GGN and CDG in both directions.

Even without Delhi, this section can absorb 2 VBs daily if you give 2-3 halts including UMB enroute in Haryana. Genuine demand for GGN from Haryana, Punjab/Chandigarh side.

There was an article that VB trial failed on Kurukshetra-Kaithal-Narwana section which lead to IR dropping the route altogether. Some pantograph issue occurred alongside MPS failure where the speed limit is just 65 KMPH on many patches.

Both AII VB and AADR VB are in waitlist tomorrow !
Chandigarh-Ambala-Delhi route truly stands out in IR in terms of filling a premium train that too running non stop between Umb and Ndls !!
This section sometimes beats ADI-MMCT section also in terms of filling premium trains !

Chandigarh Gurgaon section can absorb 2 more Vande Bharats if there is one VB originating in the morning from both the cities and one in the evening with the number of people being forced to take Volvo or personal cars.

WTF.. VBs overtaking VB also started.
NCR is legend in this regards then, 5-6 Rajdhanis run after each other and no overtaking happens between Delhi and Kanpur in both directions (unless some technical issues).

This can be the reverse VB line ups between Gurgaon and Chandigarh, both directions will get good patronage if they are intended to serve peak hour traffic.

Amritsar is supposed to have 2 Pit lines for VB.

ASR-DDN may not happen, ASR-CDG is also a failed route.
ASR-NDLS is the only viable option. In future Shatabdis will gradually be replaced by VBs anyhow. Remote possibility of ASR-SVDK/SINA.
