A new kind of cheating by TTEs, i have seen on my journey:
berth no. 3 of s6, PNBE-sc exp on 4th dec was not occupied by the person who has booked it. he has booked the ticket from buxar, but didnt board. TTE has, however, ticked his name that he has boarded, and gave same berth to a waiting list passenger for rs.600/-
If the original passenger files tdr, he wont be getting any refund.

i think we should get a 'no travel' certificate from the station master and then file TDR. This way may be TDR could be passed successfully.

12163 train is a bit tricky. Because when it comes to Pune from Dadar the date changes and im unable to book tatkal tickets from Pune to Chennai Egmore. WHat is the way out?

Thanks for the info. But for a normal ticket (e ticket) is there a quote for Pune. Because by the time i book from Pune to Chennai, there are only a few tickets available

Shubham, my case is different as the time the train reaches Pune the date changes 12.05 am. So technically I have to book tickets the next day when compared to someone who books the day before from Dadar.

Siddharth, another question. After we book the tickets from Lonavala (which I did), the ticket reflects the proper date. But the borading station does not get reflected in the pnr enquiry. How do I find out if the boarding station has changed wither thru website or phone? I called 139 and its a auto voice number.

And why do I mostly get only SU or SL. I find it more frustrating. If I select the option of atleast 1 LB then also I dont get. Any other option??

in my case it was changed long back, but still does not reflect. Either the BP was not changed or I hve to wait till the chart is prepared
