What's the on-time performance of this train? I have a flight to catch next Thursday from Bangalore at 11 am (plan to board on Wed from Chengannur). So will this train reach on the scheduled time at Bangalore. Please suggest any other trains, if any or even bus services. Thank you and suggestions appreciated!

Boarded the train today and was booked to travel in AC-2 Tier. Ticket was in RAC, which got confirmed when the chart was prepared. To my shock and surprise, the coach designated as AC-2 Tier is in fact an AC-3 Tier coach. Spoke to the TTE and he says that he will issue a lower class certificate. But I prefer to travel in the class I had booked for. Please advice what can be done. Thanks!

Ticket is not downgraded, it is still AC-2 Tier ticket. The coach is also labeled as A2

I'm still traveling in the same coach. The TTE gave me a lower class certificate for refund of difference in fare. The seating is same as in 2AC

But the IRCTC site does not even let me sign-in during the tatkal timings!!! Wonder if its just me or even others.

It is no good. I had to travel on a WL ticket (NDLS-KYJ) on the 15th June, booked at the counter. I even tried logging-in today at 10:00am. Sadly, I was not able to get in till 10:40!!
I had tried it using a 3G Datacard then and also today using a broadband connection..
