I have heard from the Railway authorities that this Train is halted for more than 3 hours between Rasipuram & Salem.
This is b'coz, there's no space availability in Salem junction.
The Planners of this train have neglected to the third class or more though this is an express train.

12:30 AM & 2:00 AM, they have to facilitate or organize Mayiladuthurai-Mysore, Tuticorin-Mysore, Kannur0Yeswanthpur on first priority. then this train gets the last slot.
as a train commuter, isn't this hard to take it for no reason of the poor passengers, who has to wait for 3 hours.
After waiting for 3 hours, the train departs post 3:00 AM at SALEM Junction & it would reach bangalore at 9:00 AM.
for a mere 218 kms from Rasipuram till bangalore, it takes almost 8 hours.
This is a Landmark achievement interms of Speed, patience, governance & Planning.
Our people, particularly from Tamil nadu, would take, whatever or the least offer.
no one will question as to why so much wait, as there's no need for such a cruel treatment.
once in a while, this is ok, if there's break down or track issues.
a daily wait for such a long period would rule out efficient delivery mechanism.
can the planners re-think or change the course of action, in terms of departure from nagercoil, either after of before 16:25.
even a mere change of 1 hour before would give a good boost to the commutters.
Hope the people of southern tamilnadu takes this on high priority.

Thanks for the Railway authorities, who have made this Train available for the passengers after 4 long years. unfortunately, we're beggars, who have to beg & wait for the food ( train ).
On the return Journey, the Train No 17236 reaches salem at 01:00 hrs, but arriving to the Bangalore city has been marked as 9:00 am in the morning.
This is ridiculous, would the train go in average speed of 20kms per hour to reach a destination of 225 kms.

almost 8 hours as per Time table but as per standards, it should be 4 hours or 4.5 hours.
can the concerned authorities work on to speed up & reach the train on par with any other Express on the same direction.

I'm here by to comment on the passenger train service, which runs between YPR -SA.
This Train has been sticking to its stand on the coaches, which is fixed to this route.

per normal scenario a diesel Loco shed can accompany or pull 22-24 rakes.
The amount of passengers, who takes this train gets a jolt, when it's nearing Hebbal & till Hosur.
They're middle class & working sector people, who rely heavily on this train to reach their home or for work purpose.
The Coaches gets full, even standing after Banaswadi.
when it reaches Hosur, the rake gets full Jam Packed, not even place to stand.
The working category & daily wages take this train to reach the destination till Dharmapuri & beyond.
Can some one, who is a kind hearted, who values, human life, make some changes & bring additional rakes, may be 4 to 5.
This would eaze out, mothers, elderly people, handicapped & others to relax, rather than to stand till their destination.
if railway states that fitting extra coaches is expensive, then, alternatively, you can apply a goods wagon ( 2 coaches would suffice )
This will give some relief to passengers, instead of getting crushed.

Request the concerned authorities to make this Train Stop at Byappannahalli Near bangalore or before Bangalore Cantonment.
People from KR Puram & Whitefield can easily get a bus or rick, instead of alighting at cantonment, which is very far & time consuming Plus hefty fares.

one of the connecting point to Indiranagar, Koramangala, whitefield & Old Airport.
if only a Member of Parliament can take this decision, then, it's time that they think of Passengers, elder people, who don't need to take the pain of Alighting at Cantonment, which is waste of time & money.
by stopping for 2 minutes, I believe, that a lot can be saved by the passengers & railway would not lose any.
