These are the reason:-
*Slack Time btwn GKP- LKO
*Dept Time after AC Exp. - Train always place at plateform from 22:50 - 23:30 and tran occupied plateform hence not taken other train at plateform.
*Not allowed to OT AC SF while 12557 is nonstop till MB.

लखनऊ : जल्द ही लखनऊ से नई दिल्ली के बीच चलने वाली गोमती एक्सप्रेस नए कलेवर में नजर आएगी। गोमती एक्सप्रेस की पुरानी बोगियों को हटाकर उसकी जगह लिंक हॉफमैन बुश (एलएचबी) तकनीक की बोगियां लगाने का प्रस्ताव रेलवे बोर्ड भेजा गया है। इसका आवंटन शीघ्र ही हो जाएगा। इससे जहां गोमती एक्सप्रेस की गति बढ़ जाएगी। वहीं यात्रियों को आरामदायक सीटों के साथ मोबाइल चार्जिग जैसी सुविधाएं भी मिलेंगी। इस समय गोमती एक्सप्रेस में जो रैक लगा हुआ है उसकी अधिकतम गति 110 किलोमीटर प्रतिघंटा स्वीकृत है। साथ ही इसकी सेकेंड सीटिंग क्लास और एसी चेयरकार की सीटें आरामदायक नहीं हैं। एलएचबी बोगियां 160 किलोमीटर प्रतिघंटा की गति से दौड़ने में सक्षम होंगी। रेल कोच फैक्ट्री कपूरथला में दो रैक के लिए सभी श्रेणियों की 54 बोगियां तैयार हो रही हैं। इसमें 22-22 बोगियां दोनो दिशाओं की ट्रेनों में लगेंगी। जबकि शेष 10 को रिजर्व रखा जाएगा। एसी की कूलिंग...

Yaar ye bahut discrimination hai IR me.Gomti ko kis angle se LHB de rahe hain.ECR ki do ISO certified train Vaishali, Sapt Kranti ko abhi tak nahi mila aur dusre zone ke train ko LHB diye jaa rahe hain.

LUDHIANA: Northern Railways (NR) has decided to increase the speed of trains from the beginning of July, so that passengers can reach their destination in a much shorter time. Moreover, the trial period to examine the speed of trains is over. Initially, the speed of trains running on short routes will be increased on a priority basis, and later, the speed of trains on long distance routes.
It is pertinent to mention that so far, the highest speed on the New Delhi-Amritsar track is 110km, and according to railway authorities, they would now be able to run trains on this route at 120 to 130km per hour, mainly Shatabdi and Rajdhani Express. In the initial stage of this upgradation, the speed of the Ludhiana-Ferozepur and Ludhiana-Jakhal route trains will be increased to 95km per hour from the existing speed of 80km per hour. Similar is case with the Ferozepur-Jalandhar and Amritsar-Ferozepur routes. Routes like Phillaur-Nakodar, Nakodar-Lohian, and Jakhal-Hisar speed will be increased from the existing 75 to 90km per hour."
Station superintendent (Ludhiana) Ashok Salaria said: "The initiative to increase the speed of trains would be helpful for long route trains. Work on the project is going on, and it will prove beneficial for residents." Kamal Preet Singh, a student, said: "It's the need of the hour that the speed of trains be increased to upgrade the railways. Trains abroad run at more than 400km per hour, but in India, trains cannot reached a speed of 150km per hour, which is very disappointing."

that's why I said 1-2 additional halts are enough.
12555-6 GD has same halts throughout except CNB NDLS. BBK LKO ON 3 in NR and then SSB Nangloi Bahadurgarh once again in NR to iske har jagah distributed halts hai sirf CNB NDLS me non-stop hai. NER me sirf KLD additional hai
then HS once again has main districts BST GD only which sums up to 2 only. in BNY route too only BNY GD were to be the halts but politics changed it[the thing I hate most once again following lalu's theory]

MB and Sapt are from ECR and RNC GR introduced by lalu so once again following his theory.
thats what I am saying. Sapt's and Magadh's punctuality in ECR is a proof of the problem.
just because train aapke area ke liye hai iska ye matlab nahi ki use apne area me passenger bana do. 1-2 extra halts for your benefit are enough.

Main aapse partiality agree karta hoon...but Sappu mere Gaon ke station (Bodarwar) se hokar jaati hai..I'm very much sure that Train treated like Rajdhani in the section.....Ye problem sirf jyada stop ki nahi hai...Actually is route par jyada train badh gaya hai (Especially Freight Train) ..Route bhi Single hai..
Aap 2-3 saal pehle ka record dekh lo...MFP-GKP section me train 12557/58 running like Tiger & Most punctual train thi.....
