Why there is no haullt for this train at thane/kalyan ? It wud b very convenient for ppl who stay between thane to titwala? Any chances is future to get stop from 1st Oct?

Same Query was raise by me Entry# 1222924 dtd. 24/09/2014. Two year back. Even I complain to Railway official complain site click here
That time I appeal all the Gkp visitor to Register their official complain on click here to Stop this Train at Kalyan Station.
Let me reply to Imperial Mail, A person can't able to comfortable travel in local at time of Rush hours (8.00am to 11.00am) to Kurla from any station from Bhandup downwords (Any residence between Bhandup to Kalyan). In this situation, IR (railway) expect, to reach LTT
in rush hours with family and Language. Which is very difficult.
Providing official stopage at Kalyan would not delay this train since Godan is running before this train and Godan take stoppage at Thane and Kalyan due to which every time this train has to wait at either Thane outter or Kalyan Outter.
By considering following point Railway Management should do some sensible decision adding stoppage at Kalyan.
1) Morning flow of mumbai local Rush and Passengers difficulties.
2) Due to Technical reason of Godan Running prior to it and it has to take a Outter Stoppage every day.
3) Superfast Trains like LTT- Delhi 22109 is stopping at Kalyan then why not this train.

In your term 22109 should also not get stoppage at Kalyan that too Starting from LTT at afternoon NON-PEAK hours at 14:30 ?
16/36km term does not work for Highly density place like Mumbai where No comparison exist between Mumbai and any Non-Metro city.
Population of this 36KM surely might be greater then the 150km area's Population in Non-Metro cities.
Still I may
agree with you if this train starts after 14:00. Its Starting time Makes it Unpractical, Difficult and costly affair.
Also consider all the aspect, practicality. Does it Practical to you that travel by Mumbai local at PEAK HOUR 8:00am from Kalyan and get down at Kurla with Language ?
PRACTICALLY it is Difficult for Passenger from Kalyan to catch train from Ltt, TECHNICALLY, This train stops every day at Thane or Kalyan Outter due to Godan Exp. and LOGICALLY, if 22109 (Best train in Cr) can get stoppage at Kalyan then Why not 12542 ???

Today, I saw 11016 reaching Mumbai with LBH. Unable to understand why does it require Generator Power coach to this train where only 3 coaches are AC, even considering Pantry car added total to only 4 coach. Where as GKP superfast also has 3 AC coach but do not have Power coach.
Why does 11016 require Diesel Generator power coach ?

Lhb trains dont have power whether they are general , sl or ac ..
They are completely dependent on external source like eog ( observed everywhere) and hog ( in trails).

Not sure, but the power coach might had been coming from some other zone due to unavailability for any ac train or even given earlier for maintainance.

Icf coaches are self generating and have batteries too..but when so many ac coaches like garib rath are there ..they need eog. Too..
As the power stored in batteries are not enough .
