I am physically challenged person. In IRCTC web site, there is no facility to book tickets in Handicapped quota. Will the facility be available any time soon? The authorities may ask the genuineness of the applicant (whether the person is really handicapped), but this can be confirmed easily while traveling, the way they use to check the ID Cards for normal passengers. Simply they can verify the original certificate of the Handicapped persons and collect a xerox copy of it. As of now, in railway counters, the officials used to do the same thing. So the same process can be done while traveling too. For Ex: How Sr. Citizens are allowed to book the tickets online and their genuineness are verified during travel, the same way we should also be allowed to book online and travel.
