I'm sharing my experience when I had traveled in this train(last week from AWB->MTJ); 2A coaches were dirty. Cleaning staff not doing their duty properly. Dirty toilets, wash basins with bad smells. Some taps were not in working conditions and water in toilets started reducing but fortunately they had filled it at BSL where it halts for about 15-20 mins.

After a long time of starting of this service there is private companies's cleaning staff doing their duties. When I was last traveled in Dec 2017; they were providing clean bed sheets, blankets etc. in 3-AC they were cleaning regularly but bio toilets were dirty to the brim. Overall, day by day, this train service is improving in all aspects.

Best option to go to AWB/Aurangabad from NK/Nasik Road. Try to book CC class tickets for hassle free and peaceful journey.

For travel from Kolhapur to Aurangabad, one can completely avoid this train and travel by bus and save 6-7 hrs. MSRTC Volvo services available between Kolhapur-Swargate and Shivajinagar-Aurangabad.

This train halts at AWB/Aurangabad for about 25-30 mins. for water filling in all the coaches.
