The train is running towards Korba or Kochuveli? My doubt because for 02647 the AC coaches are shown in rear in IRI website but here they are in the front.

Instead of increasing useless stoppages like gondia and gwalior, railways should increase the average speed and trying to reach new delhi before 9.30. Occupancy will automatically increase. I mean 72km/h of avg speed is not good for a rajdhani class train

I assume you are aware that Eastern Rajdhanis and Southern Rajdhanis use different lines till Shivaji Bridge. The question of priority doesnt arise at all.
Infact, 2441/2 should be given an NZM halt. It will make things more easier for passengers.

As mentioned by others, IR will have to speedup the slot itself between NGP-NZM for any time improvement in this stretch. 2441/2 will not be singled out here.
But yes, NGP-BSP leaves a lot to be desired. It is currently on par with regular SFs. Deserves a shorter journey time.
Lastly, if CGSK and Raj departing on the same day from BSP, it is obvious that people will prefer CGSK. And this is what is happening.

Here also, it is only 2441 that goes too pf 14/15/16 at NDLS. It would be much better of to Pf 3/4/5/6 which will completely avoid the headache to choose between incoming rajdhanis. Eastern ones can be let in as they come to Pf 14/15/16 etc and 2441 from south lines to Pf 2/3/4.

It is a trend not a rule. If the pf allocation helps in easing out the train operation, I dont think any trend should come in way of implementation.
In any case, NZM terminating is indeed the better option.. but I think the NDLS terminal is more to make its coach pooling feasible with other NR Rakes.

But what is the point in having that rule when the train ends up getting delayed and other Pfs are empty at that hour???
Secondly, kindly confirm your source when you conclude that NZM yard is full but can adjust one more rake.

Re# 1840112-40
Bro... there is a contradiction. The timing of Raj sequence is always there. All are from Eastern lines and one is from Southern line. Most East bound trains are taken in Pf 8-16 and most south bound trains use Pf 1-8. Why sandwich a Southern line train to a high profile Eastern Line arrival slot thereby ensuring its delay?? Noone is propheting convenience of a particular train, please be mindful of that. The matter being discussed is there are two conventions to choose from 1) All Raj arrive at similar Pfs 2) Southern Line trains come in at Pf 1-8 and Easter lines train use 8-16 (NORMALLY).
NR is pursuing with policy 1 and it is ensuring that BSP Raj is

stuck up at Shivaji Bridge many times. I am suggesting to try out policy 2 to ensure timely arrival. As simple as that.
I hope you are aware of NRs coach pooling policy. The NZM departure Rajdhani rakes are maintained at NZM CDO. NDLS bound Rajdhanis are not shunted to NZM CDO. They are shunted in from northend of NDLS. Had it been that easy to switch trains from NDLS-NZM, the switch would have already been made. Just curious, but have you seen the "convenience" of shunting rakes in NDLS area? It is not as simple and convenient as you are putting them to be. Shunting empty rakes around takes out the capacity of an already choked infrastructure. NR would have been happy to have a large yard than shunting the empty rakes around. It is a necessary evil due to infrastructural constraint and not something which NR is doing "conveniently".
Lastly, you have still not come up with any logical points against the termination of 2441/2 from Pf 1-8 thereby avoiding interference with the Eastern Raj slot. Your NZM termination proposal was good and I second you on that. But till the destination is NDLS, different Arrival/departure pf is something worthy of a debate rather than being dismissed on shaky grounds.

You may put the "greed and related" assumptions to rest please. Unbecoming of otherwise quality content of your posts.

Sir, it is an NR train... it is run to/from NDLS by NR! In its ICF days it has a coach pooling with RNC Raj (operating out of NDLS). Both these trains were introduced in the same budget, hence the coach pooling, hence the common terminating point for operational reasons at NDLS end. Please come out of these media-like statements of greed and all.
...

Please re-read my post. I mentioned South bound trains (not Rajdhanis).

I think you have no idea about the layout of NDLS then. BSP Rajdhani coming to Pf 1-8 in NDLS from NZM side will require least amount of switchovers! In fact, in its current operating pattern it is blocking more lines for its switch from south lines to pf 14/15/16. If 2441/2 shifts to Pf 1-8, all the eastern Rajdhanis will have a clear path (with no intrusion at all from southern lines) and vacant platforms too!

And what does terminate yourself at NZM means? Is it in the whims and fancies of a particular train to stop wherever it wants? Please go through the common history and coach sharing of BSP/RNC Rajdhani before passing irrelevant comments. That will help to keep the discussion more logical.

Your myopic comments on regionalism are really below the level that can be answered. You can happily go on singing this broken tune that clearly shows that u ve no idea or interest to know how things work in IR. If SEcR would be having this much say in train terminating stations in Delhi region, JAT durg wud ve never gone via DSJ. Come out of your kiddish views that 'oh nobody from secr or ngp asked nr to do so... '.. Pure folmy stuff.
Nyways pls carry on ur misconceptions. Good luck.

You have depicted ample knowledge of regionalism than railway working. If your IR knowledge is limited to "how another zone can dictate where to terminate a particular train in Delhi region", believe me you need a serious brushup. Time to close the arguments here.

It is already a heavily loaded train. It gets maximum patronage between RIG and R. Many other people get down at Durg. People have done the journeys standing as they were unable to get seats. The thing with this JS is that 2S is not reserved. So you will see a high availability figure. Many people purchase the unreserved JS ticket and get in. Call it a lethargy of secr but its true.....
