I think this train need WAP 7 to accelerate fast as it has frequent stoppages in Vidarbha region i,e, Chandur, Dhamangaon, Pulgoan etc.
This train always reaches before at Badnera and then delays up to Ajni.

You are right @ 12139/40 but same is the case with 12105 as it has more stoppages in Vidarbha region and being a 24 coach train it should get WAP 7
Do you have any news about AC conversion between Kurla to CSTM.

AmravatiSuperfast~ 598 blog postsThis train (only 12111) really need a speed up or TT change. It is really boring and ashamed journey under a SF tag. Although, this train doesn't have any loco change (KYN WCAM-3 throughout).
Although it is SF, 12289 NGP Duronto, 12101/12151 Jnaneshwari/Samarasta overtake it and this train runs (rather walk) very slow between Nasik and Amravati.
It can be made to depart after 12289 and 12101/12151 to reach Amravati in about 10:30 hours before 7:30 am.

You are very right I think it should reach Badnera just after 12105 Vidarbha Express.

shriniwasmahajan 6 blog postsAny body know which train overtake 12139 down Sewagram Express near wardha to be specific at Dahegoan one station before Wardha Junction. I had traveled by this train on 4 august from CSTM to NGP and seen this happening. I have searched on the official site of IR for the train but did not find out any train on this timing.
