Sorry for asking this again.
My assumption was that e-tickets can be presented for cancellation all the way up to chart preparation, and only the standard Rs 40/60 deduction will happen. Although I have never cancelled e-tickets that late but looks like my assumption was wrong.
Can someone please confirm that cancellation rules for e-tickets and i-tickets are the same?

Cancellation rules are the same for any ticket. You will get full refund (minus Rs 20/passenger) only if your ticket was RAC or WL even after chart preparation or if the train is late >3h. For all other cases, 25% or 50% of the fare will be lost depending on when you cancel on the day of journey.

Will lunch be provided when the train leaves Yeshwantpur at 13:30 hrs?
I think the rule for dinner is trains departing a station prior to 9 PM. There must be a similar rule for lunch. Can someone help? Thanks!

No prepaid food in this train so you can expect food on payment/demand in this train during lunch dinner hours.

Better have you lunch and board the train. Not sure if lunch is served after 1330 hrs of dep of this train.

ok, I guess my question was wrong since food is not a part of the ticket cost.
But now that we are on this point, can someone let me know up to what departure time lunch is provided for tickets where food cost is included?

What is the mechanism for PQWL and RLGN waitlists to get cleared?
RLGN: if I book a ticket from Nagpur to Bangalore in NZM-SBC Bangalore Rajdhani, and get a RLGN ticket, will the waitlist clear only if someone else from Nagpur to SBC cancels their ticket, or will it get cleared even if someone from Bhopal to SBC also cancels their ticket?
When and how do PQWL get cleared? Do they get cleared only on the day of train departure/journey?

Considering that there are no direct trains between Jaipur & Jhansi, the suggested route would be to go via Delhi (Bikaner-Delhi-Jhansi).
Your friend could take the new overnight Bikaner-DelhiSaraiRohilla Express (12458) to reach Delhi. From Delhi there are several trains available for Jhansi all through the day.

ok, I stand corrected. But please bear in mind that 22308 will drop you at Agra Fort, while 12002 or 12280 can be boarded from Agra Cantt - you will need a local commute to change stations

I had booked 3 tickets (same PNR) in 3A from KPG to SBC on Train 12628.
During booking, following was the status:
Passenger 1 - Confirmed
Passenger 2 - Confirmed
3 - W/L 1, RLGN
Today I have cancelled Passenger 1 and Passenger 2 since they are not travelling. As I understand, Passenger 3 in W/L 1, RLGN should now get a confirmed ticket since he was the first one in the waiting list. However the current status of Passenger 3 still shows W/L 1, RLGN.
Can you please analyse and let me understand the process and also let me know if Passenger 3 will get a confirmation. If yes by when?

I may not completely answer your question but can provide some information. I think, the train may only have a quota of 2 berths from KPG, hence the first two passengers on your PNR got confirmed tickets. The third one got a Remote Location Wait List ticket. The rules for RLGN are different from regular wait list.

There has recently been a lot of frustration among RFs when their Station Pics, Loco Pics, Train Pics get rejected because the "number is not showing", "shed is not visible", the loco/train is at a distance, Train Board is too small, "better pic available", etc. . To address this issue, effective tomorrow, ALL...

-@all members: As of recently, there has been a trend whereby minor name updates of Trains/Stations - whether such and such regional name should be there or not, whether the train should be called "Abc Express" or "Abc Superfast Express", etc. are threatening to take over the majority of Timeline entries. Also,...
