Much better option would be to extend MDP Hms and MDP SF to ASN. That would be beneficial for JMT, CRJ, RNPR regions.

The route is a nightmare. I have recently travelled in 22197 despite not halts between KIUL and PNBE. It stopped at multiple stations . Not to mention the unreserved passengers posing themselves as Railway staff. Never faced such issues with trains running via DHN GAYA.

Yep. Quite rightly put. But seldom it’ll change its route. Atleast ASN people along with JMT, CRJ will get a connection to NDLS.
But yeah if this train travelled via DHN it would be one of the best train after 12313 and 12301 to NDLS.

I don’t support this extension. Rather give a new train to MDP/ JSME. That’ll be more beneficial.

I have heard from many people in CRJ, They say Bidhan express used to depart from CRJ. Some say that was about to get extended but never happened in reality. A bus from CRJ also leaves early morning popularly known as Bidhan to ASN for ppl who'll take Agniveena.
JSME region has no connectivity to HWH in morning. Lack of EMU/ MEMU trains as well. I have missed 12340 many a times since 03562 got late. There's a desperate req of train to HWH from JSME/MDP.

Fully Agreed but if you see 12370 was 1hr delayed when it reached PNBE it was mere delayed by 1hr which was easily manageable. But it got delayed more over ECR(to 2:30hrs) , I was pointing out this irresponsible controlling. Secondly for the time 12370 was detained at JAJ it could have easily reached JSME or at-least near to JSME. There was no reason for this OT.
But yeah knew one more thing today. 🙏
