Dead Bodies in Luggage Van :-
1:- Concession to the dead bodies of patients who die in major Govt. hospitals while undergoing treatment.
2:- No freight charges will be levied for carriage of dead bodies of patients who die while undergoing treatment in Major Government hospitals from the nearest rail head serving the GovernmentHospital to the nearest Railway Station serving their home towns

A corpse will not be carried by train unless it is properly secured in an air-tight coffin and will be accompanied by one responsible person, on payment of fare, in the same train to take charge of and remove it on arrival at the destination.
4:- Free carriage of dead body by rail will be allowed by the station Manager on production of a certificate issued by Major Govt. Hospitals that the patient has died while undergoing treatment and that death has not been caused by any infectious disease

Yes absolutely Dead Bodies can be carried through trains,but for that you dont need any Luggage Vans..If you want to carry Dead Bodies in bulk,then you can approach the concerned station manager for addition of 1/2 HCPV's..but for Normal Dead Body,it need not to be attached a HCPV.
