Any update on the 3st start train ? I got reservation today from MGS and I cannot find status anywhere. II shows just 1 hour late which I think is not true

Hi Guys, First of all a very good evening.
After visiting so many parts of India I am going to travel all the way for Darjeeling/NorthEast side.
I am planning for 1 week trip from NDLS up and down, can any body suggest me proper train and visiting spots in Darjeeling and near by area.

if you ask me, Darjeeling is not worth more than a day. you can skip it too with no loss. Instead spend time in Gangtok. Beautiful and nice.
If you plan to go to high mountain towards the china border, you have to apply for permit 2 days in advance. Its worth a visit.
