Hello All,
Issue/concern:
When i book 3AC (Delhi to Mumbai) in Mumbai Rajdhani for my Mother aged 57 Yrs, the IRCTC always give available seats as 10 from Ladies Quota.
I want to book side lower because the current availability is more than 200+.
Question:
...

Can anyone tell me how to avoid going by ladies quota and book under general quota for getting side lower seat for ladies above 50 yrs in 3AC?
Thanks in advance !
Regards,
Mohit

Quite the opposite question we have heard till now mr.mohit.
try this choose option side lower and tick the check box 'book only if selected option is available '.
It might work never tried though...

1. That is Senior Citizen Quota and not Ladies Quota.
2. Ladies Quota won't come up at IRCTC until you select the same from the drop-down box.
3. Book any other passenger along with your mother and choose SLB/SUB for them. See if SUB comes up post payment. If yes, cancel the 2nd passenger.

There has recently been a lot of frustration among RFs when their Station Pics, Loco Pics, Train Pics get rejected because the "number is not showing", "shed is not visible", the loco/train is at a distance, Train Board is too small, "better pic available", etc. . To address this issue, effective tomorrow, ALL...
