ForeverLoveforERSWDM3A~ 950 blog postsConsidering the somewhat aggressive schedule of this train, why cant they provide ERS ALco twins for this train. At least provide an E loco. The WDP4D is struggling to accelerate I feel due to the load.

The reason is the electric loco shortage of SWR. They don't want any WAP4 and now concentrating on the Hubli route to electrify more trains.

Shreekara1009 222 blog postsTrains running from Bengaluru are always over crowded and people are unable to get tickets. Mangaluru needs another train to Bengaluru. And at present there is no direct train connectivity between Mangaluru and Tumakuru. I have proposed one time table to run train between Mangaluru Central and Yesvantpur Jn.

Do you have any proof for YPR KCVL a/c express as low-profit making? RTI shows it runs with over 85% occupancy in non-season and W/L holiday, sabari, and festival times.

ERS WDP-4D #40101 ready to haul our 16527 Yesvantpur-Kannur Express. We were traveling to Palakkad, and the train maintained an excellent run despite having a delayed start. For the first time in my memory, the train reached before time at Palakkad (PGT).
P.S: High time that this train got a P7. Really sad to see that this is the only train to run with Diesel loco in the Hosur section.
