Hello !
I am planning to travel from Jaipur to Mumbai but all trains are full.
Should I plan to board in train from next station say - sawai madhopur.
In such case - May i know the method that how many seats are available at sawai madhopur station quota for train specific. If seat quota is less at sawai madhopur then I should
try the next station also.
Pl suggest your feedback.

Does anybody knows any alternative method for booking the TATKAL tickets from internet ( knowing the fact that IRCTC website gets jammed during 8 to 9 am daily).
This is very much needed.

e-ticket tatkal booking blocked between 08:00 to 09:00 to avoid unauthorised bulky reservations through internet. To get tatkal ticket within 1st hour, we should go to resevation counter only.

Hi !
Can I take half ticket for my kid who is 3 years old so that I can avail the dedicated seat for him. Although I know that upto 5 years - no ticket is needed in indian trains.

You can put the age of your kid as 5, but the age difference would certainly be noticeable.

There is no way you can book a berth for up to 4yers old child.
Without going in to details why you want to do so i can only suggest you to book child as 5yers old and get a separate berth(with no on know until booked).

There has recently been a lot of frustration among RFs when their Station Pics, Loco Pics, Train Pics get rejected because the "number is not showing", "shed is not visible", the loco/train is at a distance, Train Board is too small, "better pic available", etc. . To address this issue, effective tomorrow, ALL...

-@all members: As of recently, there has been a trend whereby minor name updates of Trains/Stations - whether such and such regional name should be there or not, whether the train should be called "Abc Express" or "Abc Superfast Express", etc. are threatening to take over the majority of Timeline entries. Also,...
