This route has been developed for Freight Traffic, primarily, as its the belt for many heavy traffic movement.
I dont mean to say, that this means lesser traffic, just informed about the utility of track.
Same goes true for Singrauli-Chunar route too!!

Hi all A small Doubt..
I have a ticket which is in GNWL. I would like to know when the chart will be prepared for this. The train Leaves Ajmeer by 7 Am and reaches Kota by 13:30. So will it be prepared 2 hrs before it reaches Kota or before it leaves Ajmeer? I have seen in RLWL that the chart was prepared 2 hrs brfore the train reached my station. Can any one help me in this???

Yes, in case of GNWL, the charting will be done from Ajmer only!!
The berth confirmation will come to notice from Ajmer charting!
Further, AII-JP-KOTA all share same GEN Quota & the chartin for these station will be done one night before the schedule departure of train!!

DTN has been the issue!!
The train has gone to DMN (Haryana) from West Bengal, adding some 1200 KMS & again arrived back NSI (WB), again getting some 1200 KMS.
The station address or the station itself has been the culprit, making the train run that long, to cover mere 20-25 KMS!!
