13 special trains (to and from) for Rajasthan NWR.... But only a special train via Jodhpur for bandra t.... Is it justified with second biggest city of Rajasthan.... Maximum trains by Jaipur Ahmedabad and Ajmer chittorgarh routes... Jodhpur doesn't require of special and new trains?.... Why this kolaveri with Jodhpur. Or kitna sautela vyavhar hoga yaar ?

People for jodhpur quota don't get enough as many trains are running upto/or extended to bikaner. A humsafar/premier ac SF train is required between mumbai central/dadar and jodhpur. Luni-Marwar doubling bhi sanction nahi kia, I dnt knw NWR kya kar raha hai jodhpur ke saath

Exactly but no pressure or recommendations are made. Atleast IR should give it a try, employing a humsafar or 3 tier fully ac train which departs in eveming from mumbai

The trains 12169 and 22105 *currently have a 25m gap* roughly between them. In WR usually 15-16mins are taken for Loco change. Even if CR isn't so efficient, a 30m gap (by making negligible changes in arr time of 22105 or dep time of 12169) is enough for loco change and can save the cost of running indrani 22105 on diesel.
Any wcam series can haul 22105 till pune and regular wdm3d link can freed of its job and be utilized at other non-electrified areas where diesel engines demand is high.

if platform crunch is an issue then daund could be made thr next big interchange by reducing buffer time at pune.
Whatever be it, CR should try to give this train a regular e loco link rather than wasting diesel for close to 400kms (up and dn ttips combined).

Guys, the distance from Jodhpur to Marwar Junction is less than 110 kms plus ju-luni doubling is complete, what is the scope of doubling and electrification between ju and marwar. Is NWR paying attention to it? Imagine trains from mumbai getting end to end electric locos rather than interchanging at ahmedabad or marwar (in near future). In my opinion JU-Marwar electrification and doubling (atleast) should also be proposed and executed by the time ajmer-Marwar-palanpur route gets electrified and doubled. Any viewpoints? Jodhpur To Marwar 100km Electrification will be done easily .
But I don't think railway will do doubling of this sector ( Luni Marwar ) even in next 10 years.

I don't know why isn't NWR planning to do or sanctioning for the same because it will be a disadvantage for Bikaner/Jaisalmer/Jodhpur bound trains from Ahmedabad/Mumbai side.
