Konkan Railway:KYN WDM3D Superfast vs KYN WDM3D empty RO-RO over river!
On a hot afternoon, me and Sumanth decided to have a small 1 hour break between our work and reached Swarna river to just have fun. We get two back to back KYN WDM-3D's in action on a very windy day beautifully crossing the Swarna River.
1) Beautifully chugging KYN WDM-3D#11243 with 22114 KCVL LTT SF Express literally hammers over the river almost blowing me off my place.

Deadly honking EMD at MPS : Marusagar Express upgraded to WDP4D loco..
A late running south bound Marusagar Express comes down charging with a periodically honking WDP-4D loco from NWR. This is the second straight week that this train is getting a dual cab. Being a fan of LHF side of the EMD's hope that this train gets WDP4/4B atleast occasionally. I love capturing this train as it has always provided me an undisputed MPS show.

Indian Railways ruthless overtake:Thumping Alco overtakes EMD at MPS
Thumping overtake at Chinchwad : A late running Chennai Express goes beserk through the Chinchwad curve, trying to make up for its lost time. It had reasons to be angry : 15 minutes late running Karjat Pune shuttle, powered by a Macho WDP4D was held up at CCH for this regular overtake. Soon after passenger train arrived, a surprise long BCNA rake with twin WCG1 came from Lonavala side and was looped here. Hence Bang on time running Chennai Express was slowed down between Malavli and Akurdi. So 25 minutes after the arrival of Karjat Pune shuttle, came the furiously smoking and honking Alco, negotiating the huge curve at MPS! Enjoy the MPS...

Indian Railways : BGKT WDP4B Ranthambhore Express at flat 110 kmph!!
Super clean looking EMD monster from NWR's BGKT charging in furiously through the fog with the daily Intercity Express bound to Indore. Running late by 30 minutes, the train was maintaining MPS of 110 kmph as it was in great hurry to reach Jaipur. Always a delight to watch EMD blasting at great speed.
Train : 12466 Jodhpur-Indore BG Ranthambhore Express.
