There was a train called Pinkcity Express in past which though meter gauge was tornado on tracks. Hauled by twin pink colored YDM s with 16 pink colored coaches. True pink color much better than this crap shatabdi.

Due to high Demand of AII-NDLS shatabdi do you think that one more reverse shatabdi or Tejas should be introduced between Ajmer and NDLS.

Yes i agree with you . Agar shatabdi ki jahah Taj Express jaisi koi train JP-DEE-CDG ke bich chala to bhi faydand rahegi.

NO one wants to travel in DD .. as it is not comfortable at all !!!
Shatabdi is best !!

* AC DD chaircar is inferior to normal AC chaircar in comfort, the same way as ACIII is inferior to ACII.
* cost per berth of ACIII coach (72berths/coach) is lesser than the cost per berth of ACII coach (54 berths/ coach), so fare of ACIII (33% extra berths)is 30% lesser than ACII. If cost of bedding is taken into account, the fare difference shall be more than 30%.
* Similarly cost per seat of ACDD coach (120 seats/coach) is lesser than the cost per seat of normal AC coach (78 seats
per coach),
* accordingly, the fare of AC DD (54% extra berths) should be about about about 50% lesser than normal ACC fare. Owing to complication in ACDD coach construction, this fare can be kept around 60%.
* Fare of congested ACDD seat from Mumbai to Ahmedabad in ACDD chair car is Rs 664/- against only Rs. 553/- for ACIIIE berth in GR and Rs. 313/- for non ac Sleeper berth.
* Clearly ACDD seats are overpriced and IR is trying to profiteer from it, this is the main reason for failure of most of ACDD trains. Most of people dislike these trains and prefer normal AC chaircar which costs the same but is much more comfortable.

Add one or two more points
*Atleast one can fit on the birth of a 3 tier coach. Comfort wise there is not a big difference between 3 AC or 2 AC . Problem only comes when you want to sit and the guy allotted with middle birth wants to sleep !!
* A man like me of 6'1'' in height just can not get fit on the CC seats of DD which even can not get recline properly... just traveled on the train day before yesterday...!! as did not had
a comfortable choice of course it is way cheaper than the EX class they offer !!!
*IR should add DD coaches to normal LHB express trains and introduce them as Chair Car Economy class, it will increase the utility of these coaches!! these coaches can also be introduced in the shatabdis as economic options.. i think that will benefit the masses !!!
Jo log aisa bol rahe h ki Ajmer shatabdi ko passanger nahi mil rahe .unko mai batana chahta hu dekho Ajmer Shatbdi me bilkul off season me bhi agale kuchh dino tak seat available nahi h.
Aur agar ye train vacant seats ke sath sath chalti to ye 17 coacher nahi hoti.
Isiliye plz bina dekhe ye anuman nahi lagaye ki train khali chal rahi h.

For those who are posting AII-DEL reservation list i would like to inform them that i am a regular traveler on this train and it runs always in waitlisted mode between jaipur to delhi. i always have to book from KSG and board from Jaipur in order to get a confirmed ticket. It is less popular on Ajmer-Jaipur-Ajmer section. and people mostly board the train by taking current ticket on this section. A shatabdi does not run full on all days or get waiting's before 1 or 2 days of travel. the train is preferred more in the reverse direction.
and that if it is getting 65-70% occupancy during a non-weekend in off season day.. its surely a hit for me
and railways too. otherwise they would have made it short like NJP or AF Shatabdi.. !!!
Believe me its a lifeline for many commuters between GGN and Jaipur.. as NH 8 is in bad shape... despite of being shorter than 70 odd kms in length from the rail route.. you will be lucky if you reach Delhi before 6 hours...

Agree bro . Is train ko sirf wahi log loss making bol rahe h jinhone ise kabhi dekha nahi h. 17 coach Railway iske kabke kam kar chuki hoti agar isme seat vacant rahti to.
