i want to bring to attention of railways through your forum regarding tatkal scheme. tatkal scheme is arranged for people who wants to travel on emergency basis.
in turn what is happening is that people who are booking before one month that too on waiting list also wants to go urgently that is the reason they are blocking the money and booking. for such wait list passengers in case if they want to avail tatkal they can while booking itself pay extra tatkal charges and book it.
this will facilitate for those people...

this will enable raiways to earn more money, avoid misuse of tatkal scheme by few people.

On sunday i have travelled in 2nd Ac on Eranakulam - Lokmanya tilak duronto express.
a. The train has arrived at Eranakulam as i have given to understand from head tc i.e. before 2.30 hours inspite of monsoon timings.

d. Finally it arrived at Madgaon at 12.00 pm and they have taken Janashatabdhi from Madgaon holding this train at 12.30 and out train finally left at 12.45/12.50.
e. It reached LTT at 12.30 i.e. on monday midnight.
f. The timings are so horrible.
g.Eventhough the train has left two hours late from EKM, unfortunately it has taken 25 hours + for reaching destination instead of 20 hours earlier, wherein all other trains on konkan route the delay for monsoon is only two hours extra.
f. When the train reaches LTT at 12.30 midnight there is no transport facility and all the taxi fellows are literally looting the passengers.
g. All the trains from EKM are literally full, wherein this train is not even 1/3rd full, the loss is due to the timings of the train for both the directions.
h. the officers who are planning such trains dont apply even their mind about the convenience of the passengers and eventually they are putting the railways into loss due to their stupid planning.
i. when rajadhani can run within 20 hours from mumbai, i wonder why this duronto cant run within 20 hours when you dont have any commercial stops.
j. i feel eventually central railway will picture this train as a loss making train and will either reduce the frequency or cancel in the next budget.
k. even the food served is not upto the standard. when south indians are travelling in the train, they serve breakfast same cutlet and bread butter. horrible food even meals.
i feel somebody should take up the timings of trains atleast with concerned gms of central railway and konkan railways.
