Does the current Coach Composition shown here include the augmentation of this train by extra second class coaches as mentioned in this page?

I am planning to travel to New Delhi by Poorva Express. I want to buy my ticket from Howrah to New Delhi, but would like to indicate Barddhaman as my boarding point (since I live in between Howrah and Barddhaman). If I change my plan later and decide to board from Howrah, will I be allowed to take my seat from Howrah? Are there any extra charges involved?
Thank You in advance!

Once BP is changed, you will loose your right to boarding from the booked station(HWH). Else you can change your BP, 24 prior to departure at any PRS.
No extra charges for changing the boarding point.

No Sayan, you are NOT PERMITTED to board the train at HWH even if you have paid the full fare from HWH to NDLS . You will have to take a general tkt for that portion of the journey for the minimum permiissible distance since there are distance restrictions for travel with general tkts by Poorva.

I booked a ticket in HWH-DNR Express in 2AC. My coach number is HA-1, and my seat number is 8. Can anyone kindly tell me if my seat is Upper or Side-upper?

8 should be a upper berth and 9 a lower berth. both are together infront of each other. the coach is a composite coach comprising of half of 1st AC and half of 2nd AC. and HA1 coach is generally 4th coach from the rear (guards coach).

There has recently been a lot of frustration among RFs when their Station Pics, Loco Pics, Train Pics get rejected because the "number is not showing", "shed is not visible", the loco/train is at a distance, Train Board is too small, "better pic available", etc. . To address this issue, effective tomorrow, ALL...

-@all members: As of recently, there has been a trend whereby minor name updates of Trains/Stations - whether such and such regional name should be there or not, whether the train should be called "Abc Express" or "Abc Superfast Express", etc. are threatening to take over the majority of Timeline entries. Also,...
