A lot of daily passengers board the train Solapur onwards and this continues till Hyderbad, though the volume keeps decreasing as you get closer to hyderabad. seen this in sleeper coach. People will take up your seat if you leave for the washroom or to stretch. but will vacate when asked.

"In case of ticket purchased in advance before the implementation of GST, and the same is cancelled after implementation of GST, refund amount due as per refund rule shall be refunded to the passenger. However total amount of Service Tax charged at the time of booking shall not be refunded to passenger in cash/ shall not be transferred in the account from which transaction took place in case of e-tickets, etc. Refund of Service Tax shall be made only after Ministry of Railway gets refund from the Department. The cancelled ticket shall be treated as Credit Note for getting refund of Service Tax amount."

Hi Guys, I have a question with regard to IRCTC cancellation Process.
I had booked two tickets for 12 Oct and 13 Oct from Pune to Jammu in Jhelum Express in AC 3 Tier fortwo people each. The cost of the ticket is 3960 in both cases.
I cancelled both the tickets, one on 15 June and the other on 2 July. But the cancellation fees varied for both and my refund amount is 3580 and 3410 respectively.

170 rs effect on an amount of 410 is impossible. Also GST increased from 4.5 to 5 on ac ticketsand not on cancellation... Still not sure on this..

yupp, exact same tickets.... only difference was one was cancelled on 15 june and the other on 2 july(today)... booking date was 14 and 15 June respectively

finally got a reply from irctc... gst was deducted @5% of refunded amount but will be refunded once it is processed from the tax department... funny how it works... 180 ka cancellation charge and 170 ka gst... is hisaab se train aur plane mein difference khatam hi kar denge...

I had filed TDR request for travel in Pune duronto, due to failure of AC. Today i checked and the status shows as 'CR registered'. Ia m confused as to what it means and do i need to do anything further.

Hi guys, I am currently traveling from pune to Delhi in the duronto. I have an RAC seat with my friend and I was wondering if you guys could tell me whether I am entitled to two bed rolls or just one. Food is given for both, that I know. Also is there any place where I can lodge a complaint regarding the AC in my coach for a quick fix. Thanks in advance.
