Do you know that Lal Bagh Express is the fastest Train between Krishnarajapuram and PErambur . the train takes just 4 hours 40 minutes with 8 stoppages against Shatabdi taking 5 full hours with just one halt (yes between SBC and Chenai central . So commuters why pay more take Ac chair car Board at KJM and reach Chennai faster than Shatabdi

Indian Railways should reclassify the Superfast Train category. Only those trains that have an average speed of above 75 Kmph should alone be classified as SUPERFAST. Also the number of halts should be also considered for classification of SUPERFAST train. Take for eg Brindavan Express or Lal bagh Express between SBC and MADRAS . Te average speed of these two train is less than 60 KMPh and a distance of 360 Kms have 10 stoppages ie a stop after every 35 kms on an average. Railways need to rethink on this seriously

Some of the important trains from Chennai towards Bangalore like Chennai Mail, Shatabdi etc does not stop at Krishnarajapuram. I am sure SWR officials are aware that most of the commuters on this route are IT professional. And most of the IT companies are concentrated in White field, Outer Ring Road, Sarjapur Road and Electronic city. People working in these areas also have residences around their offices. Also it takes about 30 - 40 minutes for most of these trains to cover 19 kms between KJM and SBC It is therefore necessary that Al trains towards Bangalore and from Bangalore have a 2 minute halt at Krishnarajapuram and also at whitefield. This will save lot of these people going to Bangalore City Railway station beside saving valuable time .This will also help commuters other than IT professionals who are staying in and around Outer ring Road who otherwise are fleeced by the auto...

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
