Pic 1-3 BYPL ramp connecting SA line got electrified. With this electrification of enitre 48 kms of BYPl HSRA section is completed and after HSRA till Rayakottai ohe poles are being laid and by end of 2020 upto DPJ works will be completed and according to some sources electrification works have been started from Omalur side also but no confirmation about that. Now BAW UBL and YNK KQZ are the last remaining important routes which must be electrified.

End of an Era ! Another Pure Diesel heaven is going to be Endangered Soon. Its all Manikpur- Jhansi Section In this blog. Manikpur Jhansi is a Branch line of Itarsi- Allahabad Mainline Which bifurcates from Manikpur jn. Earlier this Section was ruled by diesel Monsters. Now Electric loco are preparing to snatch the throne of this Section. Electrification Work Is in final Stage. Only Final touchings is to be given & it is expected that in the month of October we would be able to see e-locos taking over the charge of some trains of this Section. Uttar Pradesh Sampark Kranti Exp the king & the only top priority holder train of this section is also one of them which will get electric loco end to end.

Now no chuggings of an alco will be heard, No Humming of an emd will be heard in this Section. This is the most worst thing for a diesel lover and for me also. But as we all know Electrics will not match the Charm of diesels.....
