may be they should introduce ... Calicut - Mao VB via MAJN..
which can be later extended to CBE... once 130 kmph is allowed.. in the territory ...
we have come across many instances , when VB got extended due to poor patronage while connecting two tier 2 cities...
this route covers only tier 3 cities.. either MAJN should wait for...

yeah ! there are less chances.. but it was in talks ! in that case.. two train sets will be used ... departing both ends simultaneously to cover this 11 hour journey ! during the non monsoon period also !

because , the travelers of 2S will not be able to afford VB tickets... meanwhile IR plans to convert all the Intercity daily trains in to VB in future.. for now there are covering uncovered routes pan india !

i really hope it merges with CSTM VB in the future... other wise prospects are grim on this route.. if this is not possible then IR should try ... running a daily 10 hour route to PNVL.. at the least...

you have right to determine .. but sadly the State of India .. use common resources.. we have the right to raise the concern and discuss it...

UBL connection option should also be looked upon.. due to ticketing system in india which do not promotes connection.. i guess , running single train would be much more beneficial rather than assuming connection arrangement would work...
also , Indians are very lazy when it comes to carrying their own baggage !
"Bar Bar Badalni Padegi" attitude also discourages many in Delhi as well from traveling in Trains and Metro systems..

see it will clash with route with DWR VB.. because an early departure and late arrival to a tourist place like goa , won't work ! the timings will have to be synchronized with hotel Check in and check outs..
I m sure ... SBC-MAO should be an important route to cover ...
Train will have to depart early morning from SBC and return from MAO , after hotel check out timings .. i.e. during afternoon !

well I guess same as DWR VB ! which is now getting extended to BGM ! .. Main purpose of MAO VB will be to connect Bangalore
, UBL with MAO with a daily premium intercity train !

Dharwad VB is already departing at 5:45 ; 15 mins will hardly make any difference. the same is the story for Delhi NCR people.. 6 AM shatabdis were too early for us specially during foggy winters .. but IR has compelled us to catch VB scheduled at 5:50 ... :( reacts only ! any thing before 7 AM is difficult to catch because of non availability of metro before 6 AM...

We have seen the fate of GKP VB .. which is a shear waste of resources...
AY is not doing any karisma for IR.. IR knew LKO-GKP section won't get high demand , and they experimented.. which proved to be the last nail of its coffin..
