T. No. 12716 ASR - NED Express JCO 03.03.24 will also remain cancelled for want of rake.
This train should be restored with Amrit Bharat rakes with some modification in timings from FZR/Firozpur Cantt.
I Have Travelled in this Train From FZR to NDLS and also in Punjab Mail
This wasvery good train to connect small cities with delhi and mumbai. Even life line of many station. Stupid to shut it close
This was a convenient option for someone who wanted to get down at NDLS/New Delhi(almost all trains from this trains route go to DLI/Delhi Jn).
This is very useful for someone with heavy luggage who will find it difficult to use Delhi Metro to go to NDLS after getting down at some other station.

Whenever I Travel With Family In Overnight I Preferred Punjab Mail when I Traveling Single And It was Day Time I Catched Janta Express as both were Daily
Nice suggestion.
On similar lines , Even HWH- SGNR Amrit bharat should be given a thought , with lesser halts and less travel time .
