From 9.9.2016 o¬nwards, Rajdhani/ Shatabdi/ Duronto tickets are being sold o¬n the flexi fare system. These tickets will be available o¬n current counters as well as through “E” ticketing. Passengers can buy these tickets through current counters or through IRCTC also up to 30 minutes before the scheduled departure of the train. Railways have also decided to reduce the earmarked Tatkal quota to 10% of the total classwise accommodation.
Congratulations paxs! after a very long time there is talk of reduction of fares (although on the already escalated ones), else almost every new happening was leading to further increment of fares, directly or indirectly!! What will be the last minute fare if less than 10% seats are sold in Raj/Shat/Duronto i.e. last ticket sold on normal fare. If 10% discount applied, the last minute fare shall be 10% lesser than normal fare!
