South Central Railway has geared itself up and its machinery is on high alert in view of the cyclone Vardah. A help desk has been set up, said a press release.
In all, 15 Express trains were cancelled on Monday and No. 12604 Hyderabad-Chennai Express of Tuesday was cancelled, Sixteen more Express trains were diverted.

Train No. 12269 Chennai Central-Hazrat Nizamuddin Duronto Express and No. 12687 Madurai-Dehradun Superfast Express, No. 16032 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Chennai Central Andaman Express, No. 22859 Puri-Chennai Central Weekly Superfast Express and No. 12655 Ahmedabad-Chennai Central Navjeevan Express were diverted.
