Dehradun has continued to stay isolated from special trains or coach augmentation
That is because of Platform constraint. only One platform is capable of handling 21 coaches of ICF. most probably it is PF#3.
I had seen at Haridwar, some coaches of DDN bound trains are detached.

HW is capable of handling 24 coach train. But only Ahmedabad mail and Utkal are of such length. Rest all are small 15 coach trains. Atleast Kumbha can be made 24 coach train while upasana can be added 9-10 coach at Haridwar to meet demand.
