The Antyodaya Express will comprise 16 coaches and two luggage-cum-brake vans, all LHB.

The antyodaya was started in peak routes. But in the KCVL-MAQ sectors, would an unreserved train have takers.........Maybe with a sun dep from MAQ, people travelling in buses etc from CLT, Kannur towards ERS, TVC may move to this service
It will definitely have bcoz it runs in weekends. There are so many commuters in this sector. Every train to tvc and frm tvc run fully packed and its hard to get tickets even in off seasons. The general compartments are also full. If such a train comes, it is a boon for the passengers. People use buses only bcoz they dont get their tickets confirmed and the general compartments are fully packed. I think this shd be made a daily service. I would also like the train to have stops at Alappuzha anf Kasargod also.
