Joining the new line at Desur will be good. Else many trains will bypass Belgaum or enter with loco reversal. Thereby benefits of new line to Belgaum will be very less.

Right from pax trains perspective, But freights passing through densely populated Bgm station area, before and after upto 2 kms, is something they have to think of.
