For that alignment they'd need to double the track after JNU & make another bridge on Gomti, but no doubling project between JNU & Zafrabad is commissioned as of yet.
I think both bypass and doubling will be done together, otherwise it'll suck to be 6km of single track surrounded by Double tracks from all directions.
